Nick Blais is a lighting/set/costume designer based in Toronto Ontario. Nick has been working in all three aspects of theatre since he was a 14-year-old kid. He always knew where his passion was and has been professionally working for over 15 years now. Nick is also involved in changing certain legal parts of how theatre deals with artistic ownership. For instance if someone takes a picture of a set at show and steals the idea, the designer of the set gets some royalties for the design. There’s other parts in all this but you’ll have to listen to the podcast to get more information.
